Course Description
Basic principles of computer-aided design (CAD-Computer Aided Design), Classification of design systems and basic algorithms, Modelling and management of curves, surfaces and solids, Rapid prototyping, Data exchange between CAD systems, Design of simple and complex assemblies using design software.
Purpose of the course
The course aims to introduce the basic principles of computer-aided design (CAD-Computer Aided Design). Specifically, the design of simple and complex assembled mechanical devices using design software.
After completing the course, the candidate engineer should be able to draw three-dimensional perspective drawings of common mechanical devices and their individual parts.
