Karakatsanis S. Theoklitos is born in 1964 at Alexandroupolis Greece. He received the Diploma in Electrical Engineering and the PhD degree from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), in 1986 and 1995, respectively. Currently, he is assistant Professor at School of Engineering of Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), department of Production Engineering and Management. He worked many years as a private consultant engineer and since 1989 as Elevator Engineer in many installations. His research interests include modelling and control of electric machines and also production energy and saving. He is member of IEEE and member of Technical Chamber of Greece.
